How do I add a maker to my product?Open the listing from My products, go to the Makers section and search for the person by name or @username. They need an Upfynd account first, since a maker credit links to a profile. If they are not found, ask them to sign up and try again.
Do makers need to accept an invite? No. A maker is credited the moment you add them: they appear on the listing and the product appears on their profile under "Maker on". If you were credited on something you did not work on, ask the listing's owner to remove you, or contact support.
What can a maker do?A maker is credited on the listing and on their own profile, and can: open the listing from My products and edit it reply to reviews, labelled "Maker" A maker cannot review the product, because they have a stake in it. Each listing also has one owner: the person who submitted or claimed it.
What does "Verified maker" mean?It is a badge on a profile showing that the person has verified a work email address. It tells readers, and claim reviewers, that the account belongs to someone who really works where they say they do. To get it, open Settings, go to Verification, enter your work email and type in the code we send there. The address itself is never shown publicly.
