What is a launch?A product launches on the day its listing is approved and goes live. That day is its launch date, and it is how the product is grouped on the Launches page: launched this month, this year, or at any time. Products that were in the directory before their makers joined keep the date they first launched publicly.
Where do new products appear? In four places as soon as they go live: the home page, under Recent launches Launches, under this month, this year and all time their category and tag pages the product directory, sorted by newest After that, where a product sits depends on its upvotes.
Can I change my launch date? Not once the product is live. The launch date is the day the listing went live, and it is fixed so that each day's list of launches stays an honest record. If your listing is approved but scheduled for a later date and you need a different one, contact support before that date and we will move it.
