DevOps Engineer

Upfynd is looking for a DevOps Engineer to look after the platform that serves thousands of product pages, images and launches every day. You will own how we build, ship and run Upfynd, and make sure it stays quick and secure as we grow.

Why this role matters

Launch days bring traffic spikes, and makers count on their page loading the moment they share it. A reliable platform, fast image delivery and safe deployments are a quiet but essential part of Upfynd's reputation.

What your week looks like

• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Run our CDN and object storage for logos, screenshots and covers, including Cloudflare.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions so developers can ship safely many times a day.
• Run containerised services with Docker and plan for launch-day traffic spikes.
• Set up monitoring, alerting and logging, and run calm, blame-free incident reviews.
• Handle security basics: secrets, access control, backups, patching and bot protection.

You will do well here if you have

• 3-5 years of DevOps, SRE or cloud infrastructure experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Docker and Linux.
• Experience writing Terraform and building CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of CDNs, DNS, TLS and Nginx.
• A methodical approach to incidents and good written runbooks.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloudflare, including R2, caching rules and WAF.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana or similar tools.

Your first 30, 90 and 180 days

• 30 days: You know our infrastructure, deployments and alerting inside out.
• 90 days: You have automated at least one manual process and improved how alerts reach the right person.
• 180 days: Deployments are faster and safer, uptime and page speed are tracked clearly, and cloud costs are visible to the team.

Where and how you will work

This is a full-time, onsite role at our office on the 11th floor of O-Hub, Infocity, Bhubaneswar. You will sit with the people you build with, which keeps decisions quick and conversations easy. Your everyday tools will include GitHub Actions, AWS, Cloudflare, Terraform, Docker and Grafana.
