How we list
Listing on Upfynd is free, and so is claiming a listing that is already here. Every submission and every claim is read by a reviewer before it goes live. Here is the whole process, so you know what to expect and how long it takes.
The process
Paste the product's address on the Submit page. If that domain is already in the directory, we point you to the existing listing so you can claim it instead of adding a duplicate. If not, a draft is created and you land in the editor.
Two minutes
The editor has five sections: basics, media, classification, funding and makers. A checklist beside it shows exactly what is still missing, and Submit unlocks once the required items are in. You can save a draft and come back.
Ten required items
Your listing waits under In review in My products while a reviewer opens the website, reads the listing and checks it is not a duplicate. Usually that takes under two working days, and the decision arrives by email.
Usually within two working days
The day a listing is approved is its launch date. It appears at once on the home page under Recent launches, on the Launches page, on its category and tag pages, and in the directory sorted by newest. From then on, upvotes decide where it sits.
Live the same day
Before you submit
Ten things are required. Everything else, a cover image, a demo video, links to GitHub or app stores, company stage and size, country, funding and investors, is optional and can be added later.
Three things do most of the work: a plain tagline a stranger would understand, real screenshots of the product itself, and the category your users would actually look under.
After review
The listing is published and launches. Edits to a live listing go out as soon as you save; they do not go back through review. The launch date cannot be changed.
The reviewer wants something fixed first. It is not a rejection: the listing returns to your drafts, still editable, and you send it again from the last step of the editor.
The listing cannot go live as it is, and the email says why. If you think the decision was wrong, or you have fixed what it describes, appeal through support and a person looks again.
Scope
Already listed?
Some products are in the directory before their makers have an account, gathered from public sources and marked unclaimed. Open the product page, press “Claim this listing”, say how you are connected to it, and add anything the reviewer should know.
The strongest proof is a verified work email on the product’s own domain, which you can add in Settings. A person reviews the claim, usually within two working days. Once approved, the listing is yours: edit it, add media, credit your team and reply to reviews as a maker.
Rather not be listed?
If it is your product and you would rather it was not here, contact support from an email address on the product’s domain and tell us which listing. A person removes it.
If something on a listing is wrong, whether it is yours or not, report it with a link and a line about what is off. Corrections are made by a reviewer, not by a form.
Paste your website, fill in the required items, and a person will look at it within two working days.
