Trust & Safety Analyst

We are looking for a Trust & Safety Analyst to protect what makes Upfynd different: honest rankings and real reviews. You will review reports, investigate suspicious activity and make fair, consistent calls under our community guidelines.

Every listing on Upfynd is checked by a person, and every report is looked at again. That human review is a promise to visitors and makers alike, and you will be one of the people who keeps it.

What your week looks like

• Review flagged products, reviews, comments and accounts against our community guidelines.
• Investigate suspicious voting or review patterns with the engineering and data teams.
• Handle takedown and data removal requests carefully and on time.
• Make clear, consistent decisions and write down the reasoning behind them.
• Spot new abuse trends and suggest changes to rules, tools or processes.
• Help keep moderation guides and playbooks up to date.

You will do well here if you have

• 1-3 years in content moderation, trust and safety, fraud or a similar role.
• Excellent judgement and the ability to stay fair and calm under pressure.
• Strong written English and clear note taking.
• Comfort using spreadsheets and internal admin tools.
• Respect for privacy and careful handling of personal data.

Nice to have

• Basic SQL for investigating patterns.
• Familiarity with software, SaaS or startup products.
• Experience with marketplace or review platform policies.

Your first 30, 90 and 180 days

• 30 days: You know our guidelines and tools well and are handling the moderation queue on your own.
• 90 days: You are investigating more complex cases and have suggested at least one improvement to our process.
• 180 days: You are a go-to person for tricky moderation calls and help train new team members.

Where and how you will work

This is a full-time, onsite role at our office on the 11th floor of O-Hub, Infocity, Bhubaneswar. You will sit with the people you build with, which keeps decisions quick and conversations easy. Your everyday tools will include our moderation dashboard, Google Sheets and Google Docs.
