Upfynd is looking for a Product Designer to shape the whole experience, for people hunting for software and for the makers who launch it. You will design screens that are simple to scan, honest about how rankings work and a pleasure to come back to.
Why this role matters
Upfynd serves two groups with different needs. Visitors want to find a good tool quickly. Makers want a smooth way to submit, claim and grow their listing. Great design keeps both happy and makes Upfynd's trust rules feel natural rather than strict.
What your week looks like
- Design key flows such as product pages, launches, category browsing, search and reviews.
- Design the maker side: submitting, claiming, editing a listing and replying to reviews.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs and prototypes in Figma.
- Run quick user interviews and usability tests with visitors and makers.
- Grow and maintain our design system so the product feels consistent.
- Work closely with developers during the build so the result matches the design.
You will do well here if you have
- 2-4 years of product or UI/UX design on web products.
- Strong Figma skills, including components, auto layout and prototyping.
- Experience running user research and usability tests.
- A portfolio that shows how you think, not just final screens.
- Clear communication and comfort explaining your decisions.
Nice to have
- Experience designing marketplaces, directories or community products.
- Basic HTML and CSS knowledge.
- Experience designing for trust, such as reviews, ratings or verification.
Your first 30, 90 and 180 days
- 30 days: You know our users, product and design system, and have shipped your first design improvements.
- 90 days: You have redesigned at least one key flow and set up a regular rhythm of user testing.
- 180 days: You own the core experience, the design system is widely used, and you can point to better results in key flows.
Where and how you will work
This is a full-time, onsite role at our office on the 11th floor of O-Hub, Infocity, Bhubaneswar. You will sit with the people you build with, which keeps decisions quick and conversations easy. Your everyday tools will include Figma and FigJam.
