About Yr.no
Yr.no is a weather service run jointly by the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and the Norwegian broadcaster NRK. It gives forecasts for places in Norway and around the world, including hourly graphs, rain radar and long-range outlooks. Pages for each location show temperature, wind and precipitation in clear charts, and the service has a free app. The underlying data is available through an open API, which many third-party apps use. It is free to use and funded by public bodies, with no advertising.
