Terraform, from HashiCorp, lets teams describe servers, networks and services in configuration files and then create them in a repeatable way. It talks to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and hundreds of other providers through plug-ins. A plan step previews changes before they are applied, and state tracking keeps real infrastructure in line with the code. The documentation also covers CDKTF, which lets developers define resources in languages such as TypeScript, Python and Go. Terraform has a free edition.
