About Stoat

Stoat, the chat platform that grew from Revolt, suits friend groups and communities who want a Discord-like setup without ads or data mining. Servers contain text and voice channels, roles, and tools to moderate members. The code is open source, so a community can run its own instance or use the official one, and moderators can set rules for their own space. It works on web and in apps. The service is free, and development is community-driven.
