About Snipaste
Snipaste is a screenshot utility with a distinctive trick: after capturing part of the screen, you can pin it as a floating window. Pinned images stay on top of other windows, so a design, a code snippet or a reference photo is always in view. The tool also annotates with arrows, text and blurs, picks colours from the screen and can paste text or colour values as pinned items. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux and is free for personal use. Developers, designers and writers use it daily.
