About PairDrop
PairDrop moves files between devices on the same network, or paired devices elsewhere, without uploading them to a server. Open the page on two machines and they appear to each other, ready for photos, videos, PDFs or links. Transfers use peer-to-peer technology, so no account, install or setup is needed, and it works on phones, tablets and computers. The project is open source and free to use, often compared with Apple's AirDrop for mixed devices.
