OpenMapTiles is a project for making and hosting your own maps from OpenStreetMap data. It provides a vector tile schema, tools to generate tiles and ready-made map styles. The results work with Leaflet, MapLibre GL, OpenLayers, GIS software and tile services such as WMTS and XYZ. Developers use it to avoid depending on a commercial map provider and to control how maps look. The tools are open source, with hosted data available for a fee.
