About Manticore search
Manticore Search is a database built for full-text search, forked from the Sphinx engine. Applications query it through a SQL interface or an Elasticsearch-compatible API, and it adds vector search for AI and semantic use. Developers choose it for log search, e-commerce catalogues and site search where speed and small memory use matter. It can be self-hosted or deployed in Docker, and the project claims faster results than Elasticsearch in its benchmarks.
