Keycloak is a Red Hat open source identity and access management server with more than 25,000 GitHub stars. It adds single sign-on and authentication to applications with little code, supporting OIDC, OAuth 2.0 and SAML. The feature list covers social login, LDAP and Active Directory federation, identity brokering, fine-grained authorization and an admin console. Realms provide multi-tenancy, and adapters exist for Java, JavaScript and Node.js. It is self-hosted with no per-user licensing, so organizations keep full control.
