About InstantDB
InstantDB gives front-end developers a database that updates live. Queries run from the client, changes sync instantly across users, and authentication, permissions, file storage and presence come as part of the same service. It is designed to pair with AI coding tools, so a prompt can produce a working full-stack app. The project is open source and free to use, and it covers prototypes through to production.
