About Cap
Cap is an open source recorder for Mac, Windows and Linux, and it is positioned as an alternative to Loom. It records a screen and turns the result into a link that can be shared straight away. People who want a lightweight recorder they can inspect, or who want to store recordings in their own cloud, are its audience. The app offers modes for instant recordings and for studio-quality edits, and it can take screenshots as well. Recordings can be uploaded to a custom S3 bucket.
