About Burp Suite
Burp Suite is the standard toolkit for testing web application security. A proxy sits between browser and server so a tester can inspect, change and replay requests, while scanners and extensions look for common flaws. It is made by PortSwigger, which also runs the free Web Security Academy with labs and publishes research. Penetration testers, bug bounty hunters and AppSec teams use it daily. Community and paid professional and enterprise editions exist.
