A crowded Mac menu bar is the problem Bartender solves. It lets you hide icons you rarely need, rearrange the ones you do, and bring hidden items back with a click or a keyboard shortcut. Icons can also be set to appear only when they update, so a notification shows up without permanent clutter. Version 7 adds automation of menu bar behavior without reaching for the mouse.
