About AlpineQuest
AlpineQuest is an Android app for hiking and outdoor navigation. It displays topographic maps, records tracks, and marks waypoints, with support for offline use in places with no coverage. Hikers, climbers and trekkers use it as a GPS and map viewer, importing maps in several formats. The app has a free Lite version, and a paid Explorer version adds more features. It runs on phones and tablets, so one app can stand in for a paper map and a handheld GPS on a long trek.
