2FAS generates the one-time codes used for two-factor login, storing the tokens on the phone instead of in someone else's cloud. Users can add services by QR code, back up in an encrypted file and move to a new device. A browser extension fills in codes on the desktop, and the apps are community-driven with source code that can be inspected. It offers a simple, free alternative to commercial authenticator apps and also includes a password manager.
