About Zettlr
Zettlr is a free, open source writing app aimed at researchers, journalists and authors. It edits plain Markdown with live preview, manages citations from reference libraries, and exports to PDF, Word, LaTeX and other formats through Pandoc. A file manager and tags suit those using the Zettelkasten method, and a focus mode removes distractions. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, and keeps documents as ordinary text files you own.
