About WakaTime
WakaTime is a coding activity tracker for programmers. Open-source plugins for text editors record time automatically and turn it into real-time insight into how a developer works. The dashboard shows how long you spend in each file, language, project and branch, so it is easy to see where the hours went. It also tracks AI usage across your editors, with AI-generated code and estimated model costs. A system tray app handles automatic time tracking outside the editor, and the service can be started for free.
