About Video.js
Video.js is a web video player written in JavaScript and CSS that developers drop into pages to play MP4, HLS and other formats. It started as a small HTML5 player with a Flash fallback and became one of the most common players on the web. The project was rebooted by its original creators after the maintainers lost their jobs, and is now used by billions of viewers each month on large sites. Plugins and themes let teams add ads, captions and custom controls. It is free and open source.
