Scite

About Scite

Scite is a research platform that goes beyond counting citations. Its Smart Citations show how a paper has been cited, with the surrounding sentence and a label for whether the later work supported, mentioned or contrasted it. An AI research assistant answers questions with references that can be checked, and users can set controls over the sources it uses. Students, scholars and librarians use it to judge the reliability of claims, and a free tier covers basic searches.
