1 / 3Raycast is a keyboard-driven launcher and command palette for macOS that takes the place of Spotlight. It starts apps, switches windows and runs commands from one prompt, so everyday tools are a few keystrokes away. Clipboard history, snippets, notes and a calculator are built in, along with an AI chat that supports several models. The extension store has more than 1,000 community integrations, including GitHub, Jira, Linear and Docker. Script commands cover shell automation, and a React and TypeScript API supports custom extensions. Engineers use it to speed up work in Jira, GitHub and other web apps. The core launcher is free to use.
