pybrain.org is home to PyBrain, an open-source machine learning library written in Python, whose name stands for Python-Based Reinforcement Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Neural Network Library. It gives researchers and students building blocks for neural networks, reinforcement learning and unsupervised methods. Networks, datasets and training algorithms can be combined in a few lines of code, which made it a common teaching tool. The project is older and no longer as widely used as newer frameworks, but its modular design remains a readable introduction to machine learning concepts.
