Plivo is a communications platform that lets businesses add voice calls and SMS to their apps, either through APIs for developers or visual and no-code builders for teams. It now also provides voice AI agents for customer support, marketing and lead qualification. Agents work across WhatsApp, chat and SMS as well as calls. Plivo says it handles billions of transactions a year for thousands of customers such as Uber, Meta, Zomato and GoDaddy, and its PlivoCX Engage product uses SMS to lift conversions for online stores.
