About Pingdom
Pingdom checks websites and servers from locations around the world and sends an alert the moment one stops responding. Nothing has to be installed, because tests run from its own network of probes. Uptime monitoring covers HTTP, TCP, ping and DNS checks, while page speed tests and real user monitoring show how fast pages load for visitors. Alerts go out through email, SMS and tools such as Slack, and status pages keep customers informed. It is owned by SolarWinds, and a 30-day free trial comes before paid plans.
