About PimEyes
Upload a photo of a face to PimEyes and the search engine looks for matching images across the web, reporting the sites where they appear. The company says it scans over 50 million websites. People use it to check whether their own pictures were posted without consent, which can expose identity theft, catfishing and other scams. It is also pitched at finding stolen identities, copyright infringements and unauthorized use of images, for individuals and organizations protecting their reputation online.
