About Minds
Minds is an open source social network that publishes its code and promises less content control than the big networks. Members post updates, images, videos and blogs, follow others and join groups, with a feed that is not ranked behind closed rules. Encrypted messaging is part of the app, and users can earn tokens for activity and spend them to boost posts. Creators can charge for memberships and receive tips. Minds appeals to people who want transparency about how a social site works and a platform with lighter moderation. It is available on web and mobile.
