Metabase lets people ask questions of company data without waiting for an analyst. Connect a database, and anyone can build charts and dashboards through a point-and-click interface, while analysts write SQL for deeper work. It can also be embedded in a product for customer-facing analytics, and AI features help generate insights. The core is open source and can be self-hosted, which suits startups and larger teams alike. A hosted cloud version is also offered.
