About LM Studio
LM Studio is a desktop app for discovering, downloading and running large language models on your own machine. It is aimed at people who want to run models locally and keep their data private. It includes a curated Hugging Face model browser, side-by-side model comparison, parameter tuning and chat with local documents. An OpenAI-compatible API server runs on localhost:1234. It runs on Apple Silicon with Metal acceleration and is free to use.
