About Krita
Krita is a professional painting program that is free and open source. It was made by artists who wanted affordable art tools for everyone, and it suits concept artists, texture and matte painters, illustrators and comic creators. The program offers multiple layers for building artwork, with brushes and intuitive tools for painting and sketching. The workspace can be customized, and Krita integrates with popular programs. Because the project is open source, the source is available to anyone who wants to inspect or extend it.
