About Kiwix
Kiwix is a nonprofit project that packages Wikipedia and other open educational content into files readable without a connection. Users download a library once, then browse it on phones, laptops or small devices anywhere. Schools in low-bandwidth regions, travellers, ships and prison libraries all rely on it. The software is open source, runs on Android, iOS, desktop and dedicated hardware, and offers collections that include Wikipedia, Project Gutenberg and Stack Exchange.
