About iTerm2
iTerm2 is a free, open-source terminal emulator for macOS that many developers use in place of Apple's built-in Terminal. It offers split panes, tabs, profiles, hotkey windows, regex search, shell integration, triggers and tmux integration. A built-in password manager, automatic profile switching and a Python scripting API support automation. Profiles can be configured through JSON. It works on Macs running macOS 10.14 or newer.
