About Imgur
Imgur is an image hosting site that grew into a community known for memes, GIFs and viral pictures. Anyone can drop in a photo and get a shareable link, which made it a staple for forum and Reddit posts. Registered users build albums, vote and comment on posts in the public gallery, and follow tags. Short videos and GIF uploads are supported, and paid options remove ads. Developers can reach it through an API. Imgur is owned by MediaLab and remains a free place to upload and share pictures.
