About IINA
IINA is a media player that feels at home on a Mac. It is built on the mpv engine, so it plays most video and audio formats, but it wraps that engine in a native macOS interface. Features include Picture-in-Picture, dark mode, trackpad gestures and a plugin system. It is free and open source. Mac users who find the default player limiting often switch to IINA for subtitles, streaming links and fine playback controls.
