About HumanLayer
Started as an API for asking people to approve what AI agents do, HumanLayer now centres on a collaborative coding IDE. Teams run several agent sessions, each in its own worktree, and keep tasks, artifacts and diffs in one shared view. It works with Claude, Codex and other agents on your own subscriptions or API keys. Product code and terms are published, though not every part is open, so check licences before relying on them. It targets developers coordinating agents on real repositories.
