HTTrack downloads a website to a local folder, rebuilding its link structure so the copy can be browsed offline with an ordinary browser. People use it to mirror sites for archiving, for reading in places without internet, or for keeping a backup of their own pages. It is free software under the GNU GPL, runs on Windows, Linux and other systems, and offers filters to control what is fetched and how deep it goes. Updating an existing mirror is supported too.
