Helicone AI shows developers what their language model applications cost and how they behave. It is an open source observability and AI gateway that logs requests through a proxy, then tracks cost, latency and usage across providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure and OpenRouter. Integration takes one line. Caching, rate limits, user analytics and prompt tools are included, and teams can use the managed service or self-host. Helicone now presents itself as part of Mintlify.
