1 / 4Hands Off is an open source desktop app for people who bite their nails or have other body-focused repetitive behaviours such as skin picking. It uses real-time AI detection to notice when a hand moves toward the face and shows a screen overlay that interrupts the habit. It runs locally, with no data sent to the cloud, and needs no manual tracking or willpower. Over time it retrains the habit loop while the user works or studies. Free.
