About Freebuff
Freebuff is a coding agent that costs nothing to run, for developers who want an AI helper without a subscription. It works in the terminal, a desktop app, the browser and GitHub workflows, using specialised agents for gathering context, planning, editing, research and review. From the command line it can find files, change code and run checks. The project is open source and positions itself against paid tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.
