About Forest
Forest uses a simple game idea to keep you off your phone. When you want to concentrate, you plant a tree and start a timer, and it grows as long as you leave the app alone. Leave early and the tree dies. Completed sessions add trees to a growing forest, and the app has partnered with a tree-planting group so collected coins can fund real trees. It works as a Pomodoro-style focus timer for work and study. Students and office workers use it to resist the urge to check notifications.
