Fixer.io is a lightweight foreign exchange API for ecommerce stores, finance apps and side projects that need currency conversion. It supplies current and historical rates for 170 world currencies. Conversion and time-series endpoints return JSON, and rates follow those published daily by the European Central Bank. The API is simple to call, with a free plan for testing and paid ones for frequent updates.
