Etherpad is a real-time document editor where several people type in the same text and see changes as they happen. Each author gets a color, and a timeline slider replays the history of a pad. It is open source and highly customizable, with plug-ins for formatting, comments and export, and can be installed on your own server or used via public instances. Teams, schools and newsrooms use it for meeting notes, drafts and live note-taking.
