About EMC VNX
EMC VNX is a family of unified storage systems from Dell EMC that serve file and block data from a single array. Data centers used VNX to host databases, virtual machines and shared drives, with features such as snapshots, replication, tiering between flash and disk, and management software. It has been succeeded by the Unity XT and PowerStore lines, which Dell positions for performance, simplicity and hybrid cloud use. IT teams still running VNX arrays maintain them while planning migration.
