Cursor Directory collects .cursorrules files written by the community. Each rule file tells the Cursor editor's AI which conventions, libraries and patterns to follow for a given framework or language. Developers browse popular sets for Next.js, React, Python or TypeScript, copy one into a project and get more consistent output. The site began as a quick three-hour build by two founders and grew into a hub with hundreds of thousands of monthly visitors. It is free to use and open to submissions.
