About Crunchyroll
Anime fans watch Crunchyroll for its large library of series and films, many released shortly after they air in Japan with subtitles or dubs. The service is based in the United States and has apps for phones, tablets, game consoles and smart TVs. A free tier with ads covers part of the catalogue, while paid plans remove ads, add offline viewing and open the full library. Viewers can keep a watchlist, follow seasonal simulcasts and read manga through the same account. It is one of the best-known video streaming services focused on animation.
