About ChatSecure
ChatSecure is a free and open-source messaging app that encrypts conversations over XMPP. It supports OTR encryption as well as OMEMO and the Signal Protocol, which gives people several ways to keep chats private. It works with existing XMPP accounts, so users do not need to move their contacts to a new service. It is made for privacy-minded people, journalists and activists who want end-to-end encryption on iPhone without giving up their own chat provider.
