About Blender
Blender is a free and open-source 3D creation suite that covers the whole 3D pipeline. It is cross-platform, so the same tools work across desktop systems. It offers modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking. Video editing and a 2D animation pipeline are included too. Because the suite is open source, the code behind it is available for anyone to read and extend.
